Staff Training

Staff Training has a commitment to conducting a responsive and ongoing employee training and development program that will provide SEVTC employees with competencies required for successful job performance. The success of the Center in providing effective health and medical care, training and educational programs to our residents is dependent upon the achievement of the Center's mission through its organizational departments with services provided by well trained staff.
 
Staff Training programs are offered primarily through a required an orientation program for all staff, a four week pre-service program for all direct care service providers and annual re-certification training for all employees. Additional training needs are met through special programs provided by Center staff, outside consultants, media/computer based programs and teleconferencing.
